At Wetlands Apiary, we are a group of passionate backyard beekeepers dedicated to advancing queen rearing techniques through research, education, and hands-on workshops.

We provide high quality Queen bees, Spring Nucs, and comprehensive workshops designed to enhance your beekeeping skills.

We do not sell bee supplies

Putting together a NUC Colony

Choose a strong overwintered colony
Locate 3 frames of brood and 2 frames of Pollen and Nectar for the NUC.
If you locate the queen, use a clip to confine her until you are ready to put everything back (most importantly, keep her out of the NUC)
